This Saturday, Little Mill’s Eighth grade girls basketball team will head to South Forsyth Middle School to face off against the Vickery Creek Vipers. The Lady Mustangs have been undefeated ,dominating on the court all season long. The game will be a rematch of sorts, because the two teams faced off last year in the championship, with the Lady Mustangs coming out on top. “I’m looking forward to the game because we are going back to the championship, and we’ve worked really hard as a team and become closer, so it will be a great game no matter who wins,” said Haelim Adle, center post player on the team.

Apart from their talent, what makes this team special is that all the players on the team were on the team last year. This provided a special opportunity for the girls to grow even closer during the season. Long practices every day after school and around twelve games a season form a family. “We definitely feel like a family, because we’ve been together through so much, and support each other on and off the court,” said Anna Gliatta, point guard on the team.
